Most of Frankfurt was destroyed during WWII.
A small part of the mediaeval section was spared and has been rebuilt
Frankfurt is the main financial city in Germany and is
home to the German stock exchange. As a result it is a very rich city.
Frankfurt is on the Main River so, because of the skyscrapers,
locals refer to Frankfurt as Main-hattan. Groan!
We took a boat ride along the Main (pronounced Mine)
